Cancellation & No-Show Policy
At Burghealth Chiropractic & Wellness, our goal is to provide quality service to all our patients in a timely manner. Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur. We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations/re-schedules inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments. Out of respect for our staff and our other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment.
As a courtesy, we will send you a reminder 24 hours in advance of your appointment in text or phone call. Not receiving an appointment reminder is not an excuse for a missed appointment.
Patients who do not show up for their appointment (within 15 minutes of the appointment time) without a call to cancel within 24 hours are considered a no show and will be subject to a fee equivalent to the scheduled appointment. This fee will not be submitted to your insurance. It is your responsibility and must be paid in full prior to you next appointment. If you have a credit or debit card on file that is not an FSA or HS card it will be billed automatically.
We understand that a situation may arise that could force you to cancel or postpone your treatment. We ask as a courtesy you please allow 24 hours to notify us of a cancellation/re-schedule. Canceling or re-scheduling within the 24-hour window (or Friday before a Monday appointment) will result in a $35 late fee. A pattern of missed, or non-cancelled visits may result in a discharge from the practice.
